Industrias Cerámicas Brancós, S. A., was founded in 1949 and since its beginnings it has been manufacturing ceramic floor-tiles and wall-tiles.

The company is localed in la Bisbal d'Empordà, a town with a long tradition in ceramics, located in the North-east of Catalonia.

The factory has undergone progressive expansion and it currently has a floor area of 20.000m2 to develop its 2 product lines: Gres Bisbal and Acigres.

Industrias Cerámicas Brancos has always been committed to deliver high-quality products, through meticulous control of the raw materials it uses, and exhaustive monitoring of all the stages of production, combined with advanced industrial technology and respect for the environment.

Although the company is constantly evolving in its product design, it has never moved away from its rustic and traditional character.

All its product lines have a wide range of special pieces which combine craftsmanship with technology, and which can be used to resolve construction problems homogeneously.

Still a family-run business, the company gives the greatest priority to customer's satisfaction, focusing on high-quality products with over 60 years experience under its belt and the ability to meet the increasing rigorous requirements in the construction fields.

  • Gres Bisbal is extruded rustic stoneware (klinker) used for floor and all surfacing, complemented with a wide range of special pieces that can be optionally decorated.

    Gres Bisbal is a totally natural product. Its product design has always followed a rustic and traditional style of development, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere at home and in all ambiences.

    A strict and constantly studied selection of clays with firing at 1350ºC gives the stoneware its highly resistant and unique texture.

    The wide range of special pieces maker it possible to solve any constructive finish, conferring a distinctive quality to every corner of the house.

  • Acigres, the "definitive industrial flooring" is extruded stoneware designed for flooring and wall-cladding in industries. The selection of raw materials used and firing at 1270ºC provide it with the suitable technical characteristics for resisting heavy mechanical and chemical wear.

    The product line has all the special pieces required to meet quality, hygiene and safety standards in any industrial sector, especially in the food, dairy, canned foods, wine making and chemical industries, as well as all those which involve handling of acids and alkalis.
